Buzzirk Mobile and Global Verge: Taking on the Big Dogs
Buzzirk Mobile gained attention when they launched in the gifting suite at the 2006 Emmy Awards. The company is using proprietary technology to offer phone service through VoIP, allowing unlimited usage for a flat monthly fee, with no annual contract.
Global Verge and Buzzirk Mobile are mandating that resellers have passed a test, and that their websites are compliant with all federal regulations. The websites that are not found to be compliant are getting some serious cease and desist emails.
Global Verge?s infrastructure took a serious hit in June 2009, when their customer service line was overwhelmed, their credit cards weren?t getting processed, and no updates to e-associates member accounts took effect. The company has been scrambling to get new partners in place.
The Buzzirk Mobile and Global Verge partnership has caused quite a stir, as have the hiccups within the company itself. Many are speculating this is the problem of such a fledgling company trying to take on such a huge project.
Global Verge e-associates may discover that though the VoIP product is hot right now, selling on the internet can be rough. They may find out their company doesn't do a very good job of training them how to sell successfully.
Marketing fundamentals are important, it doesn't matter what you are trying to sell. A solid marketing foundation is needed for anyone to have success selling on the internet. I'm not just picking on Global Verge, here, most MLM companies are not giving their members the marketing education they really need.
The Buzzirk Mobile and Global Verge opportunity may be tempting, but if you aren?t already an e-associate of Global Verge, my advice is to skip it, and instead invest your time and money in getting an education in the principals of marketing. - 16906
